Yes, tablet delivery has been started. Check out the first comment to see the example of the confirmation letter.In the mail you will be asked to fill the Challan or draft ( this form is not available in bank and has to downloaded and submitted in the PNB(Panjab National Bank).

People are still waiting for BSNL Tablets to arrive in to the Market, there is no official information either from BSNL or Pantel when they are going to release them in to the Market. According to the crews till today nobody thorugh out the country has received BSNL Tablet. As per the public notices issued by BSNL the tablets are supposed to be released in this March.

When Can we expect Tablets in our hands?
Though BSNL and Pantel announced the good news to the people, at this case we have to consider two things.. Pantel has to be ready with the Tablets while BSNL has to release the SIM cards to join them, both the cases has to be fulfilled to get the BSNL Tablets in our hands, failure in any one of these cases may delay in the arrival of the Tablets. However, its for sure we are going to receive the Tablets soon.

What about my Prebooking Status?
As per the records and the TV channels there were more than 3 lakhs prebookings for BSNL Tablet. For this information it is recommended to contact Pantel phone support which was launched recently. The number given below.

Payment Method
Mode of payment is cash deposit along with filled challan. For those customers who already have an account in Punjab National Bank (PNB), they can deposit the amount alongwith the transaction fee through a cheque given alongwith the filled challan.
Please note that Punjab National Bank (PNB) is taking a transaction fee of Rs. 25 for providing the payment services. This transaction fee needs to be added to the booking amount, and the final amount needs to be deposited in cash/cheque (if applicable) as detailed above.

It was mentioned in the mail itself sir. If you accept the bsnl special offer, you need to take 3499+25( service charge) challan in PNB. and it is same if you opt. it without offer. kindly refer the pantel website for the price and offers of the tablet.

I got the confirmation email from Pental technology . Today I made the payment also . After payment I asked several question regarding tablet delivery to customer care. I have received the BSNL entry level tablet yesterday on 07/04/2012.it is working very good n nice touch…..but sad to say that it do not have Bluetooth in it . pantel called on my mobile and told me that they dont have bsnl sim card stock so they will send the sim after 15 days..i replied yes..but there is no sim card slot in tablet..than how sim will operate after i receive it.

I have booked a Tpad and also made the payment through PNB 4 days back for which i have informed the customer-care and supplies deptt. But still i haven’t received any mail or call from pental.

I got my tablet (IS701R) on 14th April. Paid for it on 28th of March. For the price, we should appreciate what is given and stop there, I guess.
No bluetooth, screen resolution is not that great and G-sensor only rotates the screen but is not fit for gamings. The product comes without any user manual and hence we need learn everything the hard way.
Takes about 2 hours to charge and stays on for 2-3 hours.
Runs Android 2.3.3. I wonder any updates are planned.
WiFi is working fine. Pen drives could be plugged in to the Mini-USB port directly for file transfer.
Internal memory is about 1 GB, comes with 128 MB RAM and an additional internal microSD for 512MB. We can hook upto 32GB t-flash through the external slot. Need to be careful when inserting the T-flash (microSD) card. The slot is not perfect and you might put it inside the tablet instead of in the slot.
It plays MP4 – 1080p, brd rips smoothly. The sound quality is not great through the earphone jacks, but the built-in speakers are OK. Absence of volume control – hard keys – is a drawback.
I bought this as a gaming device for my kids. Disappointed that G-sensor bases car games can’t be played. But it is ok for any other board games.

Hi Readers,
I have bought BSNL Penta Tablet IS703C from Ebay 3 days back. It came in fully charged condition. After 24 hrs the battery drains fully.
For charging I plugged the Tablet for 6 hrs, but to my surprise the Tablet is not starting when i press the power button.
From the last 24 hrs, i kept trying to charge the tablet for 8 hrs or more, but i have not succeeded to make it ON.
Kindly help if it has any technical issues or am i missing something.
