There has been another cheap tablet entry in the market, this time by an experienced player, again an Noida based company, Zync. But there’s a big reveal in all this tablet fuss. This will be the first tablet to be launched in India with Android’s latest version, Android 4.0 (ICS)!
The company has announced the release on Z990 with an incredibly awesome hardware for the price (Rs 8,990). It features a 7-inch TFT 800x480px capacitive touch screen, 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 4GB internal memory with a support to upto 32GB, front VGA camera, 3600 mAh battery, 3.5mm A/V jack, HDMI port and WiFi. Sadly yet again, the device is not having a SIM slot but supports 3G dongles via USB port.
The best thing about the tablet is that people can now have a taste of ICS at relatively cheap and have access to Google Play apps, which is revamped version of Google Market.
